Hello friends!

Welcome back to the magical and often violent world of Belinda Fellgate – a place where, quite literally, anything goes and everything is possible. But before we drag you into the realms of dark fantasy, we – as authors – would like to thank all those who have supported us during our quest to educate non-activists about the plight of those who have no voice. Also, a big thank you to all readers of our award-winning book series, The Perfect Pair Dolphin Trilogy, and the Belinda Fellgate fantasy series.

As you have probably gathered, Belinda and her cohorts aren’t here only to deliver a spellbinding story, they are also here to make social comment - to share with you a dire warning that, if not heeded, could doom us all:

Should we continue our mindless exploitation of our planet and those we share it with, we will surely condemn our future generations to hell. By this, we mean the effects of climate change and the extinction of those who have no voice - the animals that inhabit Earth’s waters and land masses.

As a result of humankind’s wanton greed, many are already extinct or facing extinction – a dire situation that is recognised by our stories’ heroes. However, no matter how powerful they become, Belinda, Shelley, Vincent and Mr Jinks cannot redress the balance alone. They desperately need OUR help.

So, what can we do?

Well, our teen avengers need us to join #TheMirrorArmy so we can speak up in one powerful voice on behalf of those who have none.

As a collective, we need to represent our non-human persons, such as our super-intelligent whales and dolphins … enchanting spirits that are barbarically hunted in our ocean or ripped from their families to endure a life of slavery performing in the aqua circus.

Our proud Earth giants – elephants, rhinos, giraffes and more - ancient beings that have roamed our planet in one form or another since time immemorial. All - and we do mean ALL - of these incredible creatures are now in peril because of humankind’s greed.

And last but not least, those non-human souls who are at our mercy daily: those with whom we share our lives, those raised for food and those who are tortured in laboratories … and, sadly, the list goes on.

If we – as an army – won’t lend these precious souls our voice, then who will?

Now, with that all-important sermon out of the way, what may you expect from the third book in the series, Belinda Fellgate: Malamok?

Well, Belinda and her crew are now physically standing in the Shadow Realms – a universe packed with high adventure; a reality where monsters, demons and dark entities lurk menacingly around every corner. None worse than the grotesque clown and vile harbourmaster of Hell, Malamok.

A Spectacular Journey Continues!!!

To quote Theodor Seuss Geisel, (AKA Dr Seuss) "The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go".

To me, this quote is so fitting when describing this amazing book. To truly understand its pertinence, you have to read the first two books in the series - Book 1, Belinda Fellgate: HellCat and Book 2, Belinda Fellgate: The Kiss of Flauros. Only then will you understand.

In this third book, Belinda Fellgate’s amazing journey certainly hasn't faltered. The reader will continue to experience her trials and tribulations, continue to understand the story within the story, and continue to root for her and her companions as they undertake their quest. A quest so deadly, so daunting, that you can only hope for their success – because, trust me, you will harbour many doubts.

Belinda's journey will not only take you to places on Earth, but also to other realms – realms you could never imagine in your wildest dreams. I was gripped by the broad spectrum of historical characters expertly woven into the book by these amazing authors. Legendary figures such as Arthur Pendragon, Morgana and - my favorite - Merlin, along with mythological creatures such as Medusa, the Hydra and a plethora of demonic creatures from the depths of Hell. Then, just when you think you’ve seen it all, they introduce creatures from a place worse than Hell … Terrordorum - Infinity’s dumping ground and most heavily guarded secret; a cursed universe that houses the malignant spirit of the Manticore.

Remember that name: Manticore! Trust me, this reject is the personification of evil.

With this book, the authors outdo themselves time after time. I found my mind racing as I read faster and faster in anticipation of what was to come next. I could hardly get my breath, so clearly could I visualise the scenes playing out before my eyes. It is truly edge-of-your-seat.

As always, the story ends on a cliff-hanger – and it kills me! Why-oh-why do these authors constantly do this to us??? So many questions left unanswered! So many scenarios left to play out. Let's pray that there is a fourth Belinda Fellgate to give us the answers.
And, more importantly, let's pray that Belinda and her Mirror Army get the answers they want as well – because this book has an important message: our responsibility towards Mother Earth and all the voiceless souls who live on her – a message that hits home loud and clear.

What an absolutely awesome write up Craig. I wish I could write so elegantly.
You wrote every word (plus a few extra) that I was thinking but could not put into such good sentences. Lol.
I so agree that these keep you on the edge of your seat. I could not read fast enough. I hated when I had to stop and continue another day.
Did you ever think you would be rooting for a “HELLCAT”?
I too hope to see. 4th..I need answers… I must know what happens to Shelley and Vincent….of course BELINDA. Not to mention MANTICORE?????? Oh my……

Thank you for making comment on Craig Nico's review of Belinda Fellgate: Malamok, Shelley. You have no idea what a boost comments such as yours and Nico's gives us.

We are well aware that loyal supporters such as yourselves demand answers to the huge number of questions we've raised in this third book, questions we would love to address in the distant future.

However, as you already know, life has its own demands, which we must address before embarking on another book. So, please forgive!

Thank you, Craig Nico, for writing this fabulous review - it must have taken ages. What is once again apparent is how you have read and understood the story and the message it promotes. These books were never aimed at the activist community; they were aimed at the teen/young adult non-activists to open their eyes to the horrors happening to our world and those voiceless souls who live in it.

We hope that this series will be successful. It's available on Kindle and doesn't cost a fortune. For those activists who want to educate their teenage family members (and even older members), we NEED YOU to promote and support it - a vital message packaged in a great adventure fantasy.
