Answer – Okay. My name is David C Holroyd, also known as David Capello. I, along with my sister, Tracy J Holroyd, am the co-author of a book series known as The Perfect Pair Dolphin Trilogy. The trilogy consists of The Perfect Pair: The Enchanted Mirror, The Perfect Pair: The Mirror Cracks and The Perfect Pair: Shards from the Mirror.
Although this book series was published as fiction to avoid legal problems, everyone knows that this is a true story. It is a testimony of my life experiences working as a head cetacean trainer in the employment of Entam Leisure – a now defunct subsidiary of the UK conglomerate, Trusthouse Forte.

Antwort – Obwohl sie von vielen als Enthüllung bezeichnet wird, ist sie weit, weit mehr als das. Wir haben die Geschichte so geschrieben, dass die Leser dem Trainer über die Schulter schauen und das tragische Drama unmittelbar vor sich ablaufen sehen. Dabei erleben sie sowohl die Gefühle des Trainers – also meine eigenen – als auch die meiner geliebten Schützlinge. Gerade diese Aspekte machen diese emotionale Achterbahnfahrt nicht nur eindringlich, sondern auch extrem gefährlich für diejenigen, die den globalen Aqua-Zirkus betreiben.
2 Jörn question - So, is the story an exposé?
Answer – Although it is labelled by many as an exposé, it is far, far more. We have written the story so as to place the reader on the shoulder of the trainer, so they can see the tragic soap opera playing out before them, experiencing the emotions of both the trainer, which is me, and my precious charges. Aspects that make this emotional rollercoaster not only hard-hitting, but also extremely dangerous to those who run the global aqua-circus.

First, and probably most dangerous, is what I call the ‘Atlantean connection’, a telepathic link between human and dolphin. A link that allows ‘gifted trainers’ to jump into the mind of the cetacean, and vice versa.
Now, I am aware that many who are listening to this interview will view this claim with great scepticism, but I am not alone in this belief. Other trainers have also reported this telepathic link. In fact, the governments of the US, Russia, Ukraine and probably a great many others believe in this, too. So much so that they have been working gifted-trainer programmes for decades in order to weaponize this human-cetacean telepathic link. Let’s face it, we’ve all heard of dolphins and whales being harnessed with bombs and other nasties, despite the denials of our governments. Governments, I might add, that are still experimenting with this cetacean super-soldier programme. But what the governments involved have worked hardest to keep secret is the Atlantean telepathic link.

Antwort – Es ist ganz einfach: Ich spreche mit Delfinen so, wie ich mit Menschen sprechen würde – nur eben in meinem Geist, mit denselben Betonungen, die ich auch in einem normalen Gespräch von Mensch zu Mensch verwenden würde. Der Wal oder Delfin tut dasselbe. Sprache ist dabei keine Barriere. Wenn Sie Engländer sind, sprechen Sie mit dem Delfin auf Englisch; wenn Sie Deutscher sind, sprechen Sie mit ihm auf Deutsch. Denn telepathische Sprache wird vom Gehirn auf natürliche Weise übersetzt. Dieses telepathische Gespräch wird durch das Senden und Empfangen von Bildern und Emotionen verstärkt. Für Wale und Delfine ist diese Mischung kein Problem, denn sie haben darin Millionen Jahre Übung. 5 Jörn question – Like I say, this is fascinating, but you still haven’t told us how this works.
Answer – It’s easy! I talk to dolphins as I would speak to humans, only in my mind, using the same inflexions as I would during a normal human-to-human conversation. And the cetacean does the same. Language is no barrier. If you are English, you speak to the dolphin in English and if you are German, you speak to the dolphin in German. Because telepathic speaking is naturally translated by the brain. This telepathic conversation is enhanced by the transmission and reception of images and emotions. This mix is no problem for cetaceans, because they have had millions of years’ practice. However, this combination is a big problem for their human counterparts as the Atlantean connection puts a huge amount of strain on the trainers who adopt it. So much strain, in fact, that the ‘gifted’ or ‘psychic’ trainers, as they are often called, pay a high price - severe mental problems that often result in complete nervous breakdowns. In other words, they burn themselves out, many ending up as sad and broken people who, after leaving their training jobs, lose their way.
When I say, ‘lose their way’, I mean many become social outcasts, drug addicts or alcoholics. A terrible price inflicted by an industry that cares nothing for its trainers or its cetacean captives. All this industry cares about is money – NOT cetaceans, NOT humans, NOT education, NOT conservation … just MONEY!
One last thing before we move the conversation on: for those who still view the Atlantean connection with scepticism, please note that, in my time, my two dolphin teams outshone all others in both the UK and Europe. Answer - To put it simply, if the public accepted the existence of a telepathic link between humans and cetaceans, it would seriously affect the global whaling countries, nations like Japan, the Faroe Islands, Norway and others. This is because the whale and dolphin slaughters would no longer be viewed by the global public as mere slaughter: they would be viewed as genocide – the eradication of a sentient race. This recognition of the Atlantean connection would force our respective governments to take action – action that would endanger their lucrative trade deals and cost the whaling countries a huge amount of money, because, as we all know, money rules.

7 Jörn, Frage – Okay, jetzt verstehe ich das Bild. Langsam wird mir klar, warum so viele versuchen, dich und deine Geschichte zum Schweigen zu bringen. Aber wie sieht es mit den Ceta-Wohltätigkeitsorganisationen aus? Die müssten doch eigentlich bereit sein, dir zu helfen, sich hinter dich zu stellen und deine Botschaft weiterzutragen?
Antwort – Genau da liegst du leider falsch, Jörn. Meiner Meinung nach sind die Ceta-Wohltätigkeitsorganisationen nichts weiter als ein schlechter Witz. Sie scheinen sich vor allem dafür zu interessieren, Spenden einzusammeln und dabei so wenig wie möglich zu tun. Diese Ansicht teilen, wie ich weiß, sehr viele ernsthafte Ceta-Aktivisten. Tatsächlich hat – so unglaublich das auch klingen mag – nur eine einzige Ceta-Wohltätigkeitsorganisation den Mut gehabt, die Wahrheit der Perfect Pair Dolphin Trilogy öffentlich anzuerkennen: die WDC (Whale and Dolphin Conservation), die größte von allen.

Answer – That is where you are sadly mistaken, Jörn. In my opinion, the ceta charities are nothing but a joke. They care only about grabbing donations and doing as little work as possible. A view that I know a great many serious ceta activists share. In fact, as unbelievable as this might seem, only one ceta charity has had the guts to publicly recognise the truth of The Perfect Pair Dolphin Trilogy, that charity being the WDC (Whale and Dolphin Conservation), the biggest of them all.

By this, I mean you and your brave supporters standing up and stopping dolphin performances in the dolphinarium itself – not to mention a whole load of other stuff that you and your supporters get up to. Now that takes real guts!
What you and your supporters do is true ceta activism, Jörn. Fearless attacks on an industry that has continued to prosper due to the inadequate actions of the politically-correct ceta charities who continue to ask for our money, yet do little to earn it. So, can I say a heartfelt thank you again to you and your brave supporters for your iron-fist activism. To my mind, you are all true heroes.
Can I also call your attention to a whistle-blower campaign that I have put together? A blog platform that gives former ceta trainers and presenters a chance to clear their conscience and expose the true horrors of what goes on behind the closed doors of a dolphinarium. This whistle-blower platform is red-hot with former UK dolphinarium staff coming forward – but, sadly, so far, no US or European dolphinarium trainers or staff have had the courage to speak out, which, for me as a former head trainer, is hugely disappointing.

1. Das Beluga-Video: Das aggressive Verhalten des Beluga-Trainers zeigt, dass er vom Management offenbar enorm unter Druck gesetzt wird, ein anspruchsvolleres Trickprogramm umzusetzen. Statt sich wirklich auf den Beluga einzulassen – etwas, das sehr viel Zeit erfordert –, hat der Trainer den Weg der Einschüchterung gewählt, der nur selten zum Ziel führt. Tatsächlich ist sein Verhalten so aggressiv, dass ich mir Sorgen um seinen psychischen Zustand mache. Er könnte kurz vor einem Nervenzusammenbruch stehen – ein Zustand, der unter Wal- und Delfintrainern häufig vorkommt. Besonders deutlich wird sein Zustand in dem Moment, in dem er versucht, dem Beluga ins Gesicht zu treten. Ein solch irrationales Verhalten wird nicht den Trick hervorbringen, den er erreichen will, sondern das Training um Wochen zurückwerfen. Am Ende wird er seine Ziele verfehlen und das Vertrauen des Belugas verlieren.
1. The beluga video: The beluga trainer’s aggressive actions show that he is under tremendous pressure from management to achieve a more progressive trick list. This means that instead of engaging with the beluga (something that takes a long time) the trainer has instead chosen the path of bullying, which rarely yields results. In fact, the trainer’s behaviour is so aggressive that I fear for his mental state. He could be on the edge of a nervous breakdown – a condition that is common amongst cetacean trainers. The mental state of the trainer is illustrated perfectly by his attempt to kick the beluga in the face. Such irrational behaviour will not achieve the trick he wants but instead will put his training back for weeks. The result will be a failure to achieve his goals and a loss of trust from the beluga.

Dennoch glaube ich, dass dieser angeschlagene Delfin möglicherweise versucht hat, sich das Leben zu nehmen – ein Phänomen, das die Betreiber der weltweiten Aqua-Zirkusse öffentlich stets als Fake News abtun würden. Doch täuschen Sie sich nicht: Suizidversuche von Delfinen sind nur allzu real – verzweifelte Handlungen, die ich während meiner Zeit als Trainer in britischen Trainingsanlagen persönlich miterlebt habe.

Alles, was der Trainer durch diese rücksichtslose Handlung erreicht hat, ist der Aufbau einer Mauer des Misstrauens, deren Abbau Wochen, wenn nicht Monate dauern wird. Dadurch verzögert sich der Trick, den er ursprünglich erreichen wollte, nur noch weiter. Er ist nicht nur ein törichter Mann, sondern auch ein schlechter Trainer.

Note how he slaps the dolphin’s beak in frustration when he does not get the result he wants. Only if we act NOW as one united, uncompromising movement do we have any chance at all of ending the captivity, exploitation and senseless slaughter of the world’s precious whales and dolphins. Looking away is not an option. Silence is complicity. That is why we call on ALL activists – whether German, English or from any country whatsoever – to SHARE this across all social media, make noise, raise awareness and do not stop.
No more protectionism. No more ego. No more rivalries within the movement. Every conflict among ourselves weakens the resistance – and every moment of hesitation costs lives. Our duty is not to our own status, but to the dolphins and whales who have no voice.
